Review

Asur has a IMDB rating of 8.9/10 and MyMovieRack rating of 3.5/5.
Asur definitely marks a new era of crime thrillers in India. It is very unique and is really intriguing. The cast, especially, Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti and Ridhi Dogra are wonderful in their roles. Arshad Warsi, in particular gives one of his best performance and Asur will definitely count as one of his best dramatic roles.
The storyline is very engaging and will keep you glued to the screens. The blend of mythology, suspense and crime is new and fresh. The atmosphere created is eerie and even scary at times. There are a few drags along the way but they quickly move away from them and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
All in all, it is fresh, unique and a must-watch if you love eerie investigative drama with a pinch of mysticism and mythology.
